Neck and Back Pain

Neck pain, mid back pain, and low back pain are arguably the most common types of pain our patients face. These pains can be a result of one or more underlying conditions including muscle strain, arthritis or trauma of the joints, compression of nerves, disc problems, and spinal stenosis. Neck pain can also cause pains that are referred into the head, shoulders, arms, or middle back. Mid back pain can cause referred symptoms into the sides, chest, or abdomen. Low back issues can also cause pains that are referred into the pelvis, groin, middle back, gluteal region, and legs. A proper diagnosis is key to treating the underlying cause of your symptoms.

Being the victim of a motor vehicle accident or work-related injury can affect one or more parts of the body. These can be new injuries, or aggravation of pre-existing pain or injuries.

It is important to establish an accurate diagnosis quickly, in order to implement a comprehensive treatment plan, so that you can resume your normal function as quickly as possible.

Mental Health

Failed Back Surgery

Patients that have undergone back surgery, but continue to have ongoing pain, may be a candidate for an advanced medical technology that goes beyond medication or injections to better control pain.

A spinal cord stimulator is a neuromodulation device that can help correct or control abnormal pain signals. It is also unique in that a person can trial the technology prior to implantation, in order to ensure this treatment option is right for you.

Chronic pain can be difficult to cope with, and usually requires a multi-faceted approach for most people. Our team can help identify when a Psychologist can help in your treatment plan.
