About Dr. Andrew Hall
Dr. Hall was born in central Illinois, where he spent most of his pre-medical years. In 2007, he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL. Upon graduation, he attended The University of Illinois College of Medicine and received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2011. He then completed a year of Internal Medicine residency at The University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, IL. He completed his Residency in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at The University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago, IL in 2015. After residency, he completed a comprehensive and interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Medical Center, including part of his training at the San Francisco Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center.
During his education and training, Dr. Hall has received recognition for his passion for teaching and educating others. These have included the Granville A. Bennett Award for Contributions to Medical Education in 2011, the Internal Medicine Intern Student Teaching Award in 2012, and the departmental University of Chicago Medical Students’ Teacher of the Year Award in 2015. He incorporates his enthusiasm for education in his daily medical practice to the benefit of his patients and the Las Vegas community in which he serves.
He currently holds medical licenses in California and Nevada. He has presented at regional and national Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine conferences and has authored chapters in the field of Pain Medicine. He is also a member and supporter of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine societies, both locally and nationally.
Dr. Hall enjoys spending time with family and friends in the area and leads an active lifestyle. His interests include weightlifting, yoga, hiking, traveling, dog parks, marine biology and scuba diving. He is also a big foodie.
